Who is Karisma Talent Group?

We are an established principal TALENT agency in Toronto and…WE REPRESENT YOU! If you are thinking about getting representation, please book an appointment to come see one of our AGENTs at the agency. We submit for different castings such as featured films, corporate videos, music videos, tv series and print. We accept ALL talent – experienced AND beginners! Please realize that we will be HONEST with you and that we cannot work with everyone that we see. We guarantee that we have the experience and the proper tools to successfully guide and represent you- the TALENT!

What if I have NO experience?

No problem! We regularly interview professionals as well as novices. Your first step would be to set up an appointment to come see an agent; we can determine if you have what it takes to work with us and assess whether or not we can get you any of the work that comes in. We’ll take it step by step with you. Nonetheless, we try to give everyone a chance if you are serious about furthering yourself in the business!

Does the consultation cost me anything?

Nope! An agency should NEVER be charged for a consultation or appointment. There are NO registration fees and we don’t offer any courses. HOWEVER, we can provide intensive audition workshops and suggest talent courses if needed.

Please understand that without ANY professional, standard headshots or professional pictures, you must be prepared to invest time and money (as you would with any interest, leisure, or business). At the appointment, if signed, we will be able to assess what materials and tools you may need to further yourself in the industry!
However, you and the agent will be able to discuss these potential resources.

Do I need to spend any money to be an actor or talent?

Talents are self employed and work as independent contractors. You are starting your own business, therefore like any business you must invest for your business to succeed.

Will Karisma Talent guarantee that I’ll get work?

Absolutely not! We are an AGENCY and work directly with different clients . It is not up to us to book you for the job, it is completely up to the clients. Nonetheless, we can guarantee that you WILL be submitted to breakdowns that you’re suited for on an active basis. It’s also up to YOU to land the job (if you get the audition that is!)

What’s the youngest/oldest talent you represent?

We accept talent from as little as 2 years old and up. At this moment, we are NOT taking infants. Our oldest client is 85 years old!

Do I need to bring anything to the consultation?

If you have snapshots of yourself, you can definitely bring them to your appointment. However, it is not necessary to bring anything but YOURSELF! It’s an interview, so treat it like one!

What questions should I ask before registering with an agency?

What associations is it members of?

What kind of assignments or jobs have your talents received?

Is there any type of administration or registration fees to be part of your agency?

What percentage is their commission on bookings?

What now?

If we think that you have what it takes to be a part of our roster, we will ask you to come back for a second interview, unless told otherwise. If you have any questions, we ask that you call after 11 am so that we can carefully answer them. Together, we can decide how far your potential can reach! Good luck!
